AWANA is a Bible-based ministry striving to reach boys, girls, and teens with the gospel of Christ and training them to serve Him. From ages 3 years old - 6th grade, this children's ministry includes fun games, engaging lessons, and Scripture memory verses specifically tailored to their age group with the goal of disciplining children to have a closer relationship with the Lord.

The AWANA Club at Believers Fellowship runs during the months of August through May, meeting on Sundays
5:15 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. (Except for the last Sunday of the month.)

Our AWANA Clubs are:
Cubbies: 3, 4, and 5-year-olds (Age 3 by September 1st of that year)
Sparks: Kindergarten through 2nd grade.
Truth & Training (TNT): 3rd through 6th grade.

Our AWANA Club meetings consist of three parts:

  • Games

  • Council Time

  • Handbook Time

AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed! – Taken from 2 Timothy 2:15 “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.”
