Tim Stricklin - Campus Pastor for Magnolia Campus
Pastor Stricklin has been on staff as the associate pastor since 1995 and oversees the cell group ministry (LIFT), Marriage and Family Ministries, Counseling, Baptism, Men’s Ministries, and other support ministries as well as some preaching. He also teaches in the Ministry classes, as well as writing curriculum for and conducting leadership training. He has a special interest in marriage and families, and he and his wife Rebecca actively minister in helping to strengthen and restore marriages both inside and outside the church. His heart felt desire is to evangelize the sinner, equip the saints, and shepherd and encourage the flock to be all that God has called them to be. He makes it a goal to encourage all the flock to feel that they belong and are loved in the family of God.
Pastor Stricklin has been guest speaker for men’s retreats, banquets, and school assemblies and has preached in numerous churches for special events, revivals, and pulpit supply. He has preached in churches and crusades on three mission trips to Belize, Central America and has ministered on mission trips to Honduras and South Texas.
He received a B.A. from Houston Baptist University and Masters of Education from Stephen F. Austin University. Prior to being called into the ministry, he served twelve years in public schools as a high school teacher and assistant principal.
Tim’s greatest blessing and asset in life and ministry is the love of his life, Rebecca. His greatest joy comes from being a husband and father. Tim and Rebecca share the ministry with their two precious daughters, Rachel and Hannah.
