Joe Arms II (Pastor Joe's Son) came back on staff in 2017, working as the Director of Communication & Project Management. Joe worked for the church in the position of Director of Communication in 2009 to 2010, prior to being called to join the US Army, where he served as an Active Duty Infantryman who was a Paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division for nearly five years.
Joe oversees the outreach material that is used by the church, he is the point of contact for the Audio & Video Team and oversees all of our online operations such as live feeds to new announcements on our website and social media. Any special projects that are underway and not led by the Deacons, Elders, or a specific Campus Pastor, Joe handles them and or over sees.
Staying active in ongoing ministries within the church, Joe and wife Stephanie, remain flexible as to where they are needed with respect to the Church's needs as it grows in both Spring & Magnolia, TX. His wish is to build upon the work of the senior leadership and facilitate in spreading the Gospel however possible and by whatever means available.
Joe has before spoken at youth event's from the pulpit sharing his testimony on Wednesday night(s), has been a counselor on kids and youth events, and in his younger years in high school was in our youth praise & worship team as well as in our youth Drama team. Having gone on Mission trips to Mexico, Honduras, and Belize he has a heart for the world and a passion in reaching them for Jesus.
He studied at Lone Star College & Sam Houston State University, Fayetteville Technical Community College, and East Carolina University. Outside of the military and working for the Church, Joe's careered experience is in the bank industry with 11+ years where he worked up from Teller to VP.
Joe is a certified plant maintenance manager, a yellow belt in Lean Six Sigma, is OSHA certified with 30 hrs, and is certified in lean manufacturing.
Joe's joy comes from the Lord and by the blessing of his wife Stephanie.
